    So, I just finished the game, taking REVENGE. What would have happened different if I had taken DEAL ?

    Spoil all the story for me, I'm not planning to replay the game anytime soon.

    If you take Dimitri screws you over and you and Phil have to escape with the money, getting rich in the process. At the wedding it's all the same up until this assassin shows up and Niko dodges a bullet. Roman takes the bullet.

    Then you and Jacob chase down a guy until you get to that exact same final place, where you see Dimitri screw over Phil (shoots him in the face) and rush out to the roof. He gets into a chopper you get into a boat. Chase chase chase. Land at Happiness Island, shoot him dead.

    ^That except that in DEAL you get into an annihilator helicopter instead of a boat. Revenge you get into a boat.

    In revenge you chase the boat on a bike and jump onto the annihilator with Jacob and Roman.


    In deal you chase a chopper with a boat and climb up off of the boat into the annihilator with Jacob.

    I left out the part about the chopper, sorry. And yes Jimmy P is pretty much there to get shot by Dimitri.

    In DEAL, pegorino gets rich and is at the top of the world. After you and phil escape with the money, he will call you up before the wedding, thank you, tell you to take care of yourself, and that's the end of that.

    At the wedding, a bald dude in a suit comes up to Niko and says "Niko Bellic? A gift from Dimitri Rascalov..." He fires 3 bullets, one of which hits Roman. Dead.

    And the guy way above me posted what happens to the rest.

    Also you can youtube the ending of GTA IV probably. Both endings.

    I perfer the Kate = dead ending. In the Roman = dead ending, Niko loses everything. His cousin and Kate wont speak to him for choosing the Deal over his principles.

    Also, BROS BEFORE HOES.

    Problem with that ending is Pegrino is the last person you kill, that goes against what the whole game goes by. To me Roman dead is the REAL ending. Why Pegrino would be the last person you kill over Dimitri makes no sense.


    Plus the deal final mission is more fun.

    Dimitri was never the real villain. The real villain in my opinion are Niko's shackles to living the criminal life and being forced to carry out orders he feel uncomfortable about. Pegrino represents the last of these shackles.

    During the drive with Kate, Niko insists upon starting upon a new life and being a better person. Kate says something about how meeting the right person can change him for the better as much as meeting the wrong person.

    Oh and like someone else mention, Niko is left with no one if he loses Roman since in that ending Kate breaks all relations with him too. Not to mention I don't look at Niko has someone who really values money over revenge (against Dimitri).
