    very enjoyable, but even with the online play, i only got a weeks worth of decent play from it

    Finally getting a chance to play this and by Gozer, it's a lot of fun. As they mentioned in the review, it's not without it's issues, but its also not without its merit.

    Speaking as a child of the 80s and someone who happily grew up on both movies, I've had nothing but a big smile on my face during the whole playthrough of the game. Just got done the bit library and escaping from The Collector, which had all sorts of fun visuals.

    Holy crap on a cracker I been waiting for this pretty much since the movies were out. This generation of consoles is perfectly able to do this game/movie justice. I also hear a movie is forthcoming?

    the Graphics on the 360 and the PS3 would be better. I have to say I've been looking forward to this game but I kept thinking it will be as crap as any game based on a movie but after this review I'll give it a buy.

    Just finished it today and tt's very funny. A great and a little short game. A must rent/buy for all Ghostbusters fans!

    I am definitely getting this, played the demo on the ps3 on all difficulties and its really good, the hardest difficulty is quite challenging actually with the main bosses only taking one hit to kill you. Overall i think the game has been made really well especially with everything being licensed from the voices to the music, it really puts you into the mood of when you first watched any of the Ghostbusters films all them years ago, great job.

    Ok, after seeing that, I'm officially getting this game. And by *that* I mean, getting to take down the big marshmallow guy- that does it for me.

    And I love the ghostbusters movies

    I have to say these graphics are tons better on the Ps3 than on the wii version normaly its at least a little closer.

    Yes, lets just give all games a 9 or a 10 eh dg3215? I mean seriously thats the best thing about this site, it's objective. I mean they gave Ghostbusters a good review, just because you disagree doesn't make the site wrong. Sounds to me like your the wide eyed fan boy not anyone at Gamespot.

    7.5 seriously.. This site has the worst reviewers, that are mostly fan-boys, but whats to be expected from this sub-par website. The graphics in this game are excellent, as well as the game play. Of course its repetitive some of the time, but what game isn't. AI is not good enough for hard mode that is my only complaint about this game.. Gamespot really should hire some people that know how to review games and understand what people are looking for but people are getting tired of these sub-par reviews soon this site will have like zero hit and then they will not be here anymore, personally I will not miss this site, but it is a shame because they use to be one of the best review sites on the internet. Now unless you are a game that has huge fan-boy following (ie.) metal gear, GTA... or its a new PS3 game they don't give the game a fair review and will find one thing they don't like about the game and use it for a basis to give it a low rating.

    I loved the Ghostbusters films growing up, so this review just gave me the hope that games based off movies don't all suck.

    yaarg3636, your a loser. Of course it looks dumb but thats the thing about Ghostbusters, its so dumb its great. You've probably never seen a Ghostbuster movie so just shut up we don't want to know what a whiney 8 year old girl has to say.

    Good review, classic movie. Good game with a few walk-arounds if you`re into the concept. This won`t be all that impressive to the traditional gamer, but other than that - mildly fun for a rental.

    My original phrasing was definitely rude and uncalled for, and for that I apologize. I deleted it on re-viewing it after seeing your response. I have followed this website for years and hold it's reviewers and other content providers in high regard, and consider this site my main source for gaming information. There's a very good reason you write reviews and I make buying decisions based on them.

    To explain my original point: A quick look at the last 50 PC reviews shows only 12 scoring a 5.0 or below. 7.0, which this game got for the PC version (because it lacks multiplayer), was the most common. It is this shift as opposed to standard distribution that I referred to as a "four point scale," a very bad choice of terms. By the actual distribution of numbered scores given out, as opposed to the named labels, among the PC games reviewed on this site over the last few months this is a middling score, which is why I was surprised it was the score received when the review was so positive overall.

    The Ghostbusters movie franchise has NEVER been forgotten. It still remains fresh in my mind as well as almost everyone else here im sure lol. Btw, just bought this game, it really is fun getting ghosts with the proton pack. The review was spot on.
