Kessen II Japan Release Date Set

Kessen II, the strategy simulation game based on the Romance of Three Kingdoms series, makes it way to Japan this March.

GameSpot has learned that Koei will release Kessen II for the Sony PlayStation 2 this March in Japan. The first title in the series was set in feudal Japan, but the second installment will be loosely based on the Romance of Three Kingdoms series, with fictional elements such as use of magic spells and free flight.

Kessen II for the PS2 is slated for a March 8 release at a price of 7800yen (about US$66) in Japan. A super value set, which includes Kessen and Kessen II, will also be available the same day for 12800yen (about US$109).
