Special audio CD planned for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3

Activision plans to release a complimentary audio CD and CD-ROM for its upcoming PlayStation 2 game.

Activision has partnered with Maverick Recording Company to release an audio CD with music from the upcoming PlayStation 2 game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Simply titled Music From and Inspired by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, the product will also include an enhanced CD-ROM titled Tony Hawk Inside Out, which will include preview footage of the game, an interview with Tony Hawk, and behind-the-scenes footage of Tony Hawk practicing at a skate park, performing his signature 900 move, and providing a tour of his house. Additionally, the CD-ROM will include a Tony Hawk Winamp player, photo gallery and wipeout reel and a chance to win two decks autographed by Hawk.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 features a wide range of popular and up-and-coming music groups. Among the acts featured are NOFX, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, Pennywise, Drowning Pool, Outcast, Onesidezero, Papa Roach, Millencolin, Hometown Hero, Pressure 4-5, Ozomatli, and Deftones. The game will be released for the PlayStation 2 on October 30 and will be one of the first online multiplayer games for that console.
