ECTS 2001: New media: Sunny Garcia Surfing

Ubi Soft has released new media from Sunny Garcia Surfing for the PlayStation 2. The game is set on a fictional island located 300 kilometers east of Fiji, in the middle of the South Pacific. Sunny Garcia Surfing features eight real-world champions who can perform more than 50 special tricks. The 10 different beaches included in the game provide individual wave characteristics. Players can choose from single- and multiplayer modes and must avoid dangers such as sharks, Jet Skis, and reefs while surfing. A replay mode is also planned, as are secret beaches that have to be found before players can surf them.

Sunny Garcia Surfing is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 in November.
