Madden 08 drafts song list

EA's annual footballer to feature pop, rock, hip-hop soundtrack from Ozzy, Bravery, Sum 41, Timbaland, more.

Spanning 11 platforms and hitting more than 7.1 million users as of last March, EA's Madden 07 garnered a substantial amount of playtime for the up-and-coming artists who landed a slot on its soundtrack. EA released the details on its Madden NFL 08 soundtrack this week, and as in past years, the collection includes a variety of established pop, rock, and hip-hop artists, as well as a few newcomers.

Headlining the show are platinum-record-selling artists such as The Bravery, Swizz Beats, Sum 41, Timbaland featuring Justin Timberlake, The Hives, and Yellowcard. Airbourne, Datarock, Operator, and Enter Shikari will make their big-time debut, hoping to seed an ascent to superstardom. Lending a track to the proceedings for the first time will also be rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, with "I Don't Wanna Stop."

Arriving this August, Madden NFL 08 will be available on the Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Wii, PC, PlayStation Portable, mobile handsets, and Mac.

Man...MADDEN always has hot soundtracks its NCAA who lacks the good songs. Madden got Swizz Beats on the soundtrack and other great artists. Shoot Madden is like one of those games that will change your way of listening to music cause if you dont like rock you will find ya self singing along with the game when you play MADDEN. So, people dont knock the game because alot of unknown artists get their career start off of Madden. MADDEN ALL THE WAY!

the soundtrack isnt THAT bad... shadows fall, the used, hellyeah, ozzy.... there are always bad songs on these soundtracks. but some of the ones you have never heard before end up being good. so we will just have to wait and judge when we play the game.

This kind of games just fail at soundtracks. The only good stuff there is Daddy Yankee Impacto and timbaland with JT but that timbaland song is not even a single. Oh btw I dislike Don omar because he always acts fake, wanting to act like a saint lately. And also if you notice it's a featuring not really a song of him.

man, EA went from some of the most awesome and groundbreaking game soundtracks to this. While madden might happen to make the 08 installation the most amazing and awesome, and super mega crazy good, i'd wind up tuning out the music all together as it would be enough to drive me away from the game.
come on guys, lets get it together and bring back some of the 04, 05 soundtracks that rocked so hard!

is anyone surprised that the soundtrack sucks my butt . . . thats pretty much standard issue for EA . . . . no real rock and roll just a bunch of noise that will drive me to finally pay up my satellite radio bill.

Brotha Ali, Murs, Zion and the Grouch are real.

I wish they would put some People Under the Stairs on there, they need some exposure, but i kind of like having all the good underground **** to myself. It's kinda sad they have to share space with sad cats like MIMS and those other plastic packaged losers.

I give them credit for puttin some talented artists on there, i just wish the rest of the world would wake up and realize how much they're bein played.
