All-Star Baseball 2002 PS2 ships
The PlayStation 2 baseball game will be available at retailers soon.
Acclaim Sports has announced the shipment of All-Star Baseball 2002 for the Sony PlayStation 2. The game features all 30 MLB teams and stadiums and more than 750 players with 250 true-to-life texture-mapped faces. Additionally, the game includes a hall of fame team with legendary superstars such as Reggie Jackson, Mike Schmidt, and Nolan Ryan.
"I'm very proud to be associated with All-Star Baseball 2002," Derek Jeter, New York Yankees shortstop and All-Star Baseball 2002 spokesperson, said. "I am very selective with the products I choose to endorse, and All-Star Baseball 2002 continues to reign as the world champion of baseball video games."
Jeter will appear with both print and television ad campaigns for the game. He will also take part in a public service announcement for the ESRB that encourages kids to play the games that are right for them.
