    FF12 was really fun and the story and characters were really good. The combat was the only thing that kind of brought the experience down a little i mean it was still fun but the idea was kind of strange. If they take that and just improve on it it then the next FF will be so amazing. I still think it was one of the best games i played on the PS2. And of course cant wait to get FF13. I just bought Lost Odyssey which they told me sence i like Ff i should like it.

    MMO = Massively Multiplayer Online you proved you shouldnt be commenting, how can you have a single player Massively Multiplayer game, typical World of Warcraft player

    Pros: Looks fantastic, probably best looking game on PS2, magnificent cut scenes, strong story, and Fran.
    Cons: Worst Final Fantasy to date. Horrible battle system, took all the "fantasy" out of Final Fantasy!

    Final Fantasy XII is the best FF of all up to now.. I for one am looking forward the FF XIII . And hopeing for something special

    One of the best games I've ever played. It's not right to compare it to the other FF games - they're all so different. I don't really understand people that hate this (and FFX). I can't find anything to hate, personally.

    I am a longtime fanatic of all Final Fantasy games. Though this game underwent numerous formula changes, I would have to say that I love it; great refeshing change. Sometimes it's nice to get the unexpected.

    Kinda like scrabble. Wow. There are only two flaws that stand out to me in this game. One is that the characters feel superficial. Not as developed as in past games. The second is that the new combat system forces the party leader to run headlong into every fight which forces all enemies to target the leader first. Resulting in the leader either dying in two seconds or sucking up white magic and potions. Solid game though.

    were it not for FFX and FFVII, we would have all loved this game. The game itself was not up to the standards of those two FFs but man was Balthier amazing!

    Andrew, it's not about pleasing the fans. It's about making a great game. If you can do the one you'll do the other. Don't forget where you came from, but don't live in the past either. The ATB system is tedious and outdated. This is a much needed upgrade. Square obviously put a lot of effort into fixing the few things that were really annoying about past games. Every time I was wandering around and I hear that tell-tale sound and some swirly thing on the screen I would cringe inwardly, knowing that I would have to wait for the battle screen to load, and if I didn't want to fight it was an annoying process to run away. And GAWD I hated having to select every no brain-er action all the time. What's this? My entire party has 1 hp left and it's my healer's turn to move? What should I do? Seriously. I hated that. Anyway, my rant is done. FF 12 rocks, end of story.

    Not like the Final Fantasy's I used to know and love. The music doesn't sound half as good as the works of FFX,7 or 8. This whole fairytale story thing they have going on in this game is neither reminiscent of old Final Fantasy games. And finally why,why,why,why,why did the replace the turn based classic combat of past FF's with this shoddy combat system!? I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy and a lot of people probably welcome these new changes but I feel as if old fans have been forgotten.

    This game, Metal gear solid 3: substinence, God of War 2, and Nfs: Most Wanted were the best games for the Ps2.

    its not a marval because its still on the ps2, no hardware improvement, thats why i believe 13 will be the next 10, or fall on its face, i hope it lives up to the hype but ff games usualy do

    this game is incredible, does hav problems though like getin money and spendin so long trainin and even when u hav u wil stil find it hard.Getin money is so annoyin stuf is too expensive, overall great game though, im hooked and this is my first ff game ive eva played

    The only thing that put me off this game was the fact that it can be punishingly hard if you don't spend the time to level your characters. I'm currently irrevocably stuck at one point which forces me to turn back and spend time gaining exp. Otherwise, I love it! (Aside from RTB, I preferred ATB by a long way, it had more character and charm)

    i cant understand how people dont appreciate this masterpiece. Perhaps too many emotionally challenged kids have obviously been playing final fantasy games than mature minded gamers. This game is an excellent RPG that feels differently refreshing. i cant say any less. It's awesome. i would play this game over and over to acquire every weapon ability and slay every single monster as well as maximize characters to the highest levels. yes, time consuming but it's an exhilirating gaming experience that wont be forgotten for a long time. I loved vagrant story (wished there was a sequel). It follows i luv this game too!
