Abed, he did say Disgayaa (Latin). It's Disgæa or Disgaia, anyway.

I hate JRPGs and arbitrary level grinding, but am a strategy fan, so maybe I'll get the DS's. (It'll be free, a swap for Treasure World in Toys R Us's buy-two-get-one-free sale; it's not opened of course. eToys (of the same corporation) also had such a sale, but it seems not to take more than 3 games.)

I somewhat disagree on one account.

Me ? I'm mroe of a Western RPG player, and I found Disgaea tonnes of fun for one aspect: the character creation aspect. The class unlocking reminded me heavily of the prestige classes of D&D.

Also, if there's one thing I love about Disgaea concerning it's replayability and anything goes world, it's how you can level up your character almost any way you want. Even though Laharl is meant to be a warrior, I find that he can be a rather decent mage.

Disgaea's , and the rest of the Nippon Ichi games are some of the best JRPG's Ive' played, considering that I go more for the Western side.
