So who are the other 2 Kuzunoha?

    Obviously the player is Raidou and the old geezer is Geirin but who are the other 2 and what are their names? Do you think they'll appear in any of the future games?(If they make anymore that is)

    One of them is called Kyouji Kuzunoha. He's the main character in the very first Devil Summoner, well his body is being used by the soul of this guy who is the main character.

    The forth Kuzunoha is yet to be revealed.

    Actually, it seems that Kyouji IS NOT one of the original Kuzunoha. The one in the Taisho era is Kyouji the 1st. Since the four great Kuzunohas have originated since the establishment of the Kuzunoha clan, Kyouji is not one of them. Or so it says here:

    Difficult to say, I don't think the guy's just called Kuzunoha for no particular reason and besides, I don't think everything on wiki is necessarily true. Until the other 2 'official' Kuzunohas have been revealed, I'll treat Kyoji as a pseudo Kuzunoha

    ^^FYI, the novel had some contradictions with the game... Which is why I don't really take that "kyoujiisnotoneofthegreatsummoner" business, and the Soulless Army fanbook listed Kyouji as the Four Great Summoner as well (just him and Raidou actually, Geirin hasn't been revealed yet and of course the 4th name is still a mystery).

    One of the contradiction is The great Kanto earthquake already happen even though the novel takes place before Soulless Army (in the end of SA Narumi clearly mention that the earthquake is actually the event in Ep10-EP11 in SA). And it's definitely not a mistake, it was a paragraph long.

    But I'm wondering, I haven't played the original Devil Summoner for a long time but was the Yatagarasu mentioned in the game at all and was there any mention of Kyouji working for them or anything? As I remembered, Kyouji had quite a despicable character

    What I heard people saying was that that Kyouji was very pompous and considered himself the best of the Kyouji that he choose to call himself the first. He worked for the Yatagarasu in the novel.

    I have never played the first Devil Summoner so I wouldn't know that. But the fact that he has a devil summoner symbol similar to Raidou's is enough for me to believe he's an official Kuzunoha until proven otherwise.

    I also want to mention aside from the devil summoner symbol on the start screen of Devil Summoner, whenever you visited the case files in Raidou 2 you would hear the Kuzunoha Detective Agency theme. To me that's the creators hinting that there is a connection between the games and the Kuzunoha.

    Kinda like saying that the file cabinet where Raidou has his own cases is the beginning of the Kuzunoha Detective Agency.

    There's also some characters in Raidou 2 mentioning him about getting his own agency.

    But why I don't why see he couldn't be a proper Kuzunoha based on the novel's title of the character but whatever. Hopefully we'll get more of info in Devil Summoner 5.
