Gitaroo Man joins D.I.C.E.

Keiichi Yano slips into speaker lineup at next week's event; iNiS founder is the brains behind Gitaroo Man, other rhythm-based titles.

Two changes to the D.I.C.E. Summit speaker lineup surfaced today on the event's official Web site. First is the deletion of Monolith president Samantha Ryan, who apparently will no longer present.

Taking up the slack is a coup for the program: Keiichi Yano, cofounder of indie game development studio iNiS, has been added to the speaker lineup. Yano comes to the event with an impressive background: iNiS is the studio that created Gitaroo Man, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, and the recently released Elite Beat Agents.

Yano is also scheduled to present at the upcoming Game Developers Conference in March.

Also add that this man was hired by Microsoft to help in their online division. If anything, he probably knows more about their Live messenger than any Microsoft employee still employed! And yes, to own the INIS collection BEFORE EBA hit is like being a colts fan before Manning. Good thing i did neither.
