Thanks Everyone for your comments, greatly appreciated, and also glad that I have some games you never heard of. I guess you can say I'm an oldie, but hey, I don't feel old so There is one more that was not mentioned. It's THE FIRST fighting game made back about 1979, 1980. It's called WARRIOR. It uses line-polygons to make a top-down view of sword fighters that swing the sword to attack your opponent. The only real down side is that you did not have your selection of characters, you were either player 1 or player 2. And since it was line-polygons, you can pretty much get the idea of simplicity.

Yeah, Fighters Megamix was hilarious. (Combination of Virtua Fighter/Fighting Vipers/Other Sega Characters.) Seriously, you could play as a car (Yes, a Daytona car that fights like a human), a slab of meat, a palm tree, a duck (From Dynamite Dux Genesis game), some strange looking mexican jalapanio, and if you own the Japanese version, you can load the Sega Saturn CD into your PC and find a complete moves list and a special picture of the girl from Virtua Cop 2 in her undies

i played a game at an arcade once, forgot what it was called, anyway you could be a LEGO person whose special attack was to have a picnisc with its friends. and there was a fighter you forgot. it was called rift 64or dark rift or something like that.

Here's another fighting game that you can add to your list.  It's called Destrega.  If you don't know anything about it, here's a link to learn a little bit about the game.

Hey, fantastic people, you really knowing your stuff....Finally 1 game I have not heard of or at least might have forgotten for sure was Destrega. I'll see what I can do about adding this to the list. I sorta want to make this Forum area a complete list of fighting games and keep it up to date as much as possible. The only thing I may need to do is just simply make a list and not worry about the catagory they go in. Just simply list them in Alphabetical order and that way we have a list to work with.

From Capcom you also missed Jojo's Bizarre adventure on a couple of different platforms.

From Sammy i think but i'm not sure, you missed Guilty Gear on PSX, Guilty Gear X for PS2 and DC, Guilty Gear X2 for ps2, Guilty Gear XX for ps2 and some random guilty gear for XBOX.

Oh and misc, theres a 2d prince of persia fighting game on GBA i think.

Yeah lol, its meant to be a fairly decent fighter though... mind you that was nintendo magazine and... well... its written so badly and usually by morons. Other characters include, the enemies you encounter along the way, some of the bosses, and i think theres another version of the main character too. So thats nice.
