TGS 2005: Dance Dance Revolution Strike Feet-On
The Dance Dance Revolution series marches on.
TOKYO-At the Tokyo Game Show 2005, Konami is showing off a demo version of the next Japanese installment in the DDR series, Dance Dance Revolution Strike. DDR Strike appears to be modeled after the upcoming North American PS2 game, DDR Extreme 2. But the demo version on display at TGS doesn't give a very deep look at the game's menus and features, so it's difficult to tell if Strike will contain the same online mode and other new features found in DDR Extreme 2.
DDR Strike will, however, feature Dolby Pro Logic II sound support and will contain the Yuzo Koshiro song, You Gotta Move. The game is scheduled to be released in Japan next year.
