Capcom Classics Collection Preshow First Look

It's a bit fitting that as far as technology advances, companies put out classic compilations that appeal to the truly old-school gamers among us. Capcom Classics Collection is such a compilation, and it features 22 classic Capcom games spanning 10 years of the company’s history.

So what's in it? It starts with the World War II arcade game 1942, where you get to control a plane through some intense air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. Then you can tackle city gangs in Final Fight, the arcade game that spawned numerous sequels, as well as the upcoming PS2 and Xbox game. Then there's Ghosts 'n Goblins, which pits you against zombies and demons in the quest to save the beautiful princes. Next is the original Bionic Commando. And the last of the five games that we know about is Commando. Unfortunately, Capcom will reveal the other 17 games in the collection at a later date.

And like in a collector's-edition DVD of a motion picture, there will be extras to go along with the collection, including original artwork, remixed music, and playing tips. Capcom Classics Collection will ship for the PS2 and Xbox this September.
