First look: Smash Cars

Metro3D releases information on its toy-car racing game for the PlayStation 2. First screens inside.

Metro3D has today released new information on Smash Cars for the PlayStation 2. The racing game, which is currently in development at Creat Studio, will see players racing one of 13 different radio-controlled cars around 13 expansive off-road levels set in various locations around the world.

In addition to the single-player tournament mode, Smash Cars will feature split-screen support for two players. The game will feature seven different gameplay modes in total, although specific details on these have not been released at this time.

Smash Cars is currently scheduled for release in July in North America and August in Europe. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
