Rumble Racing ships
Electronic Arts ships its stunt-based racing game for the Sony PlayStation 2.
Electronic Arts has shipped Rumble Racing for the Sony PlayStation 2. Rumble Racing is loosely based on the NASCAR circuit, but it features such arcade-style gameplay elements as power-ups and air-based stunts such as barrel rolls and flips. More than 35 original vehicles with custom paint jobs are featured in the game.
"Rumble Racing, the fastest racing game on the PlayStation 2, incorporates a diverse group of racing vehicles, environments, and stunts,'' David DeMartini, the executive producer of Rumble Racing, said. "Speed separates this game from the pack. We have developed a lightning-fast racer where you can either master the driving component and find the quickest racing routes or develop your jumping skill in cool cars on dynamic tracks."
The game carries a suggested retail price of $49.95.
