Not only is this the best game in the Silent Hill series but it's the best game I have ever played. Silent Hill 2 rekindled my interest in video games.

What's ironic is that many reviewers criticized this game while the vast majority of players agree that it's the best SH game out.

That review is Bull$*%@! The whole point of a sequel is that the players were so satisfied with the original that a new "chapter" is made. If people weren't satisfied with the original a sequel won't be made. A sequel is not meant to give you what was missing from the story in the original. If certain factors within the story weren't given to us, it means we weren't meant to know. The mystery and confusion is one of the scariest factors of this game. The mystery is what makes Silent Hill (the city, not the game) so interesting. The players finished SH1 confused and satisfied. If SH1 wrapped everything up, Silent Hill would no longer be an interesting place to explore. It's reviews like this that led SH3 to having such a bland, up-front story, and a soap opera dialogue. He claims that SH2 has a boring, unneccesary story. Anyone who has beaten SH2 can confirm that it has one of the most surprising and intrigueing stories ever to be seen in a video game. I'm starting to wonder if this "reviewer" even played the game.
