    no comments. The only thing there really scary is the flashlight beeing used as a weapon. Call of cthullu, condemned, dead space...those ones did all right on the past few years

    since they got System Shock 2 ... they should really put AVP and AVP2 in there as well... I think Eternal Darkness is the only game I haven't played...

    i swear to whatever.. Dead space and condemned are 2 games ill never see through couse they are too scary..

    i played RE2,4,5. dead space, condemned 2, Bioshock
    condemned is pretty hardcore but deadspace is very hardcore and scare the shxt out of me. RE4 and 5 is nth....

    Doom 3 scared me several times like no game did before. Maybe AvP 1 some time ago, but that is history. Doom 3 and FEAR rules at the feeling they give tot the player

    Resident Evil 4 and Doom 3 are the kickass titles, they both made you scramble for ammunition and everything you find is useful, even the crappal Pistols! Everything was scarce...maybe RE4 wasn't exactly as terrifying, but it made your mind spin..that is, if you though you still HAD a mind...

    All are all great games to play around Halloween. I have always been a Resident Evil fan, and I am starting to like Silent Hill as well. I really wanna try SH Homecoming and Dead Space, FEAR looks cool too! As far as the video goes it was kinda weak, and the list was only ok. RE 3, and Code Veronica could Have been on here, as well as SH 1 and 3, and Mabey Fatal Frame.

    This actually a solid list of horror games. I would personally only make a few changes to it. The first would be to add the Fatal Frame series. Although I have never played it the series looks very frightening. I would also include the year the game was originally released. I personally think the scariest games on this list is Condemned Criminal Origins and Resident Evil 4.

    Honestly i like games phycological horror games cuhz it gets you into the game & its freakin scary but makes you want more of it, & i have to say bioshock wasnt as much of a scary game to me though but it was a good game & the thing omg the old school movie was tight wish they would remake it !!

    While I do agree they could have picked scarier scenes for some of the games than they did, the whole idea is to show you scary games you might not have played. Why would you want to give away some of the scary moments before you play it?

    I loved playing call of cthulhu: dark corners but I am selling it now. It only really last for one play through anyhow.

    I personally like the list, but they don't show any scary clips from the games. They show a lot of the weaker parts of those games, like in Doom 3, an imp sneaking up on you? Condemned 2, watching the guy with the mask talk on TV? Come on, there are way scarier moments in these games than this. But, I still think its a decent list.

    True Pandora but there are many parts in Doom 3 that would be chilling even if you were just watching and hearing it. The Imp coming behind you thing is so generic it seems like they picked the least scary parts of Doom. Maybe it was to not spoil the game, then i would understand. The original Doom clip was more scary lol.

    that was just halfass right there. You can tell that they didn't take a lot of time finding the REALLY authentic and scary stuff from games like DOOM 3, Condemned and any of the Resident Evils

    Why is there footage of Resident Evil 5? It wasn't out last year, so what they're doing is using a superb mix of conjecture and advertising. Oh, and isn't this an Australian site? If so, Silent Hill: Homecoming came out in March - and it wasn't a very good game, either - ... Good Game(spot).
