Harvey Birdman hatching November 13

Capcom confirms Wii version of avian attorney's gaming debut set to arrive alongside PS2 and PSP games at height of holiday release schedule.

Last month, a listing for a Wii version of Capcom's upcoming Harvey Birdman surfaced on the rental site GameFly, which indicated that the Cartoon Network's star superhero-turned-attorney would be spreading his wings on additional platforms. The publisher confirmed this today, with the announcement that Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law would be released on the Wii as well as the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. All three versions of the game will ship to North American stores on November 13.

Originally announced in April, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is being developed by Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based High Voltage Software, makers of the most recent Leisure Suit Larry game and the Hunter: The Reckoning series. The game will feature the show's familiar cast of characters, including Peter "Did you get that thing I sent ya?" Potamus, the insatiable Gigi, and the mumbling Vulture.

The deal is part of Capcom's ongoing efforts to go after more TV and film licenses, and one of the first publicly acknowledged fruits of its increased presence in Los Angeles.

A Harvey Birdman game? I just hope Phil Ken Sebben and Myron Reducto are going to be voiced by Stephen Colbert.

Wow. I enjoyed the show, as well as much of [adult swim], but what in the ....how in the....a game? the show? what? why? How?.... Well... I will still end up playing it. But next time, gamespot, you should just say "HEY, Guess what they are making into a game! You'll never get it!" And give 20-30 guesses with hints & anyone who guesses correct gets a prize.

Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is still on every Monday through Friday at Midnight and they just had a last episode air about a month ago, so it is still playing and they might make more episodes for it after the game comes out, they had to move the timezone just because Adult Swim always moves the timezone of a popular show and replaces that show with one that doesn't get that much attention they always used to do that with Cowboy Bebop (I mean move it in favor of a less popular show) and I'm still waiting for them to put that back on the air.

Pretty cool. It's like an interactive episode. I'm a big fan of the show, so it's probably a buy for me, though I hope it comes at a budget price since it is pretty simplistic.

Great show, but since it is no longer in production how much press is cartoon network going to give it? Wonder why they picked this show over something more popular and active.

It was all cool until they said the developer was High Voltage. Anyone remember what they made? Can anybody say "Family Guy"?
