Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon ships for the PS2
Ubi Soft announces that the PS2 version of its squad-based shooter will be in stores soon.
Ubi Soft has today shipped the PS2 version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon to stores across North America. The game, which has already proved successful on the PC and the PC , is a squad-based first-person shooter in which players join an elite US Army unit to combat Soviet right-wing nationalists in the year 2008.
Unlike the recently released Xbox version of the game, Ghost Recon on the PS2 has no online play and instead allows up to four players to team up on a single screen. PS2 owners needn't feel short-changed though, because in addition to the 15 Ghost Recon missions found in other versions of the game, they also get to play all eight of the missions from the PC expansion pack that was released for the PC in March.
The PS2 version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon should be available in stores soon.
