Composers announced for Star Trek games

Rod Abernethy and Jason Graves provide score for trio of Bethesda Softworks' upcoming star-trekking games.

Bethesda Softworks and Rednote Audio today announced Rod Abernethy and Jason Graves as the composers of the scores for its three upcoming games based on Star Trek. The duo, who previously wrote scores for Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, Rise of the Kasai, and Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, have written the symphonic music that will be heard in Star Trek: Legacy for the PC and Xbox 360, Star Trek: Tactical Assault for the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable, and Star Trek: Encounters for the PlayStation 2. Encounters beams into stores this week; Legacy and Tactical Assault will be ready next month.

4SAKENEOL: Judging by this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAruDiINK9A&mode=related&search= ), they will. However, I could do without the intro music from "Enterprise" :/

I haven't played any of those other games...is the music any good in them? After all, good music can be the difference between a good game and a great game.
To Electrolight: The thing that makes a star trek game unique from anything else out there is the tactical ship combat. I can't see Star trek being exceptional in a run-of-the-mill RTS game or a FPS. Elite Force was a fun game, but it wasn't anything special, like Legecy will be...if they get it right.

I love Star Trek but the games suck. Why won't Bethesda make Star Trek game like they make the Star Wars games, I want something like a Star Trek: Battlefront, or maybe they can do something like Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force. I am so tired of the space combat sims. It looks like Bethesda is screwing up another franchise just like they screwed up Oblivion for the 360.
