this guy fails, if u mash sweep u gonna die, this game has a great combat engine that actually needs skill and is a fun game 2 play

I disagree with all those out there who think the combat is repetitive. I have no idea how people can run through the game with only a sweep attack. This game has the best combat engine and pacing I've ever seen in the video game industry, even compared to games that are next-gen. The premise here is that you need to keep yourself on guard at all times, know when to shield bash and land a combo, so to fill your rage meter to clear out a couple of or a single strong enemy. To add into the mix, defeating different enemies actually require more strategy than you think. For example, fighting a Heavy two-handed sword wielding Roman praetorian require a constant rolling around their backs and hit hard. But even more challenging, it depends on which other enemies he is accompanied with. If he's accompanied with assassins, you'll know you need to be more precise, and rather evading the praetorian, the assassins are your first priority.

The combat engine is so well-done that anyone could easily overlook its mediocre graphics, animations and sound. At times, I think it's far better than God of War. So, buy the game. It deserves your love, if you're still living in the last generation like me.

This was a pretty good game, but it really just doesn't hold up against a game like God of War. Some of the missions were interesting though and they did kind of keep it from being too repetitive.

Good game, but had some flaws, for example the graphics weren't really good , the combat felt weird cause you didn't have to use many buttons, only had to mash the same button every time. Good thing - lots of weapons to kill with.
