The Scorpion King coming to multiple consoles
Universal Interactive is bringing a spin-off of The Mummy series of video games to several platforms.
In a story published in The Hollywood Reporter, it was reported that Universal Interactive's first GameCube game will be based on a spin-off to the popular feature-length motion picture The Mummy. Called The Scorpion King, the upcoming motion picture is currently scheduled to hit theatres next April and will star the WWF's The Rock. The video game adaptation of the movie is tentatively scheduled for release on the GameCube next fall. According to our sources, The Scorpion King is also scheduled for release on the Game Boy Advance and PlayStation 2 sometime next year.
