TDK Mediactive announces PRYZM for the PlayStation 2
A new action-adventure game is cued up for the PS2.
TDK Mediactive announced today that it will publish PRYZM Chapter One: The Dark Unicorn for the PlayStation 2. In development by Sandbox Studios, PRYZM is an action-adventure game in which players take on the role of a unicorn of the same name. PRYZM forms an alliance with a giant named Karrock to fight an evil plague that is ravaging their valley. Karrock sits on PRYZM's back, and the two characters may be controlled separately or together. Players must locate and restore health checkpoints while using magic to battle multiple enemies and heal the infected sorcerers, warriors, and monsters.
"PRYZM delves deeply into a Tolkien-inspired fantasy world filled with elegant elves, gruff trolls, and a menagerie of magical creatures," said Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer of TDK Mediactive. "Add an archetypal storyline with compelling characters and incredible special effects, and we have an exceptional title with potential for audience appeal across the board."
