    the camera dosn't suck lozvil you just have to know how to use it really good like me......too bad i sold my psp before this game came out, but i played the japanese version alot so this will make me feel like i'm doing everything all over again.Good thing i have my Wii for Monster Hunter Tri

    Cerberuz is right. It's a sick game if you know what you're doing, but it can be frustrating at the beggining, especially if you don't have a friend teaching you or....you know....and internet connection.

    it got a 5 because people that can't play the game right gave it a bad review cause they suck.

    gla300 your wish has been real for some time already. mh frontier is online on pc, check it out @ www.mh-frontier.jp

    english server who knows when. doesn't stop a lot of mh lovers from tackling jp server though

    Man, I've played almost all the series from Monster Hunter to Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

    Too bad that in my country no body is interested in this game

    Anyway, I wish that they make a PC version which has better graphics and online servers, thats gonna be kickass.

    under what basis did MHF2 get a 5.0?

    gamespot so badly need to re-review it, im suprised it hasnt even got a video review despite being the most indepth game on PSP.

    I have Monster hunter freedom 1 and 2, they are the best games ive played on the psp.
    My mates introduced me to the first game and i played it non-stop.... Then the 2nd game came out and i bought it the day it came to Britain, and im still playing it!
    I hope the new game comes to Britain soon!!!!!!

    U know why the review is sooo baad and totaluy untrue?

    He states it himself/herself ....been up the ass of an apceros or other docile.
    As he writes that the game is basicaly assprickin...?
    ? Strange i'd assume that suits the reviewer..heearye hearie mayor big laugh comin out!

    It is a truely great game..but not for woosies.
    and didnt the unite ting relaase in japan last year? So how u get it in 2007? Another 505? Surely not 3? Did the Wii(mp) exist way then?

    Any capable programmer out there can make it go PS3? That would be scary.

    ATTENTION anybody who is dying for MH 3!!!! Come join the Monster Hunter Union here at Gamespot and sign our MH 3 petition. Capcom would like to hear our demand for the game here in the USA.

    omg that was helarious(idk if i spelled it right but w/e) how they struggled on a simple Velocidrome i can't wait to see them up against the Fatalis brothers lol i cant wait till ( April-June ) when it comes out in the U.S. This game is gonna be sick!!! and so is #3

    Frickin Fantastic game. Don't listen to Gamespot's biased review. That reviewer probably sucked so much that he couldn't even rotate the camera.

    Monster Hunter is the only game I know of you can't truly rate with 2-10 hours of play. This game is totally skilled based, extremely challenging, and FUN!!. You really have to think and plan out your quests. Like which weapon or armor I need to focus on upgrading and what strategy I'll use to take down a large Monster. Thinking ahead is very important in this game. Taking down notes on what monsters have what type of carve material, what map or area I need to travel for special or rare items found only there, etc.. Monster Hunter did poorly here because of the bad reviews and the #1 reason was its broadband for PS2. On-line gaming was not Sony's strong point and I know In my area I got broadband 1 year after the game came out. I played the PS2 version of Monster Hunter for 4 years on-line until the server closed. But capcom abandoned us and did not give It a second try with Monster Hunter 2. (Broadband was everywhere then) In my opinion Sony did no marketing for the game and dropped the ball BIG-TIME!! Right now Monster Hunter Series is making more money for Capcom than anything right now. You hear nothing from Sony on trying to make a deal to bring the series back to console. They released MH freedom on PSP and never looked back at the console. Now I got a Wii collecting dust waiting for the next installment.(That's if the US gets it) Well I'm happy they kept the PSP version going. As far as I'm concerned, Monster Hunter will be My all time #1 gaming series FOREVER!!!!!

    i am having some real fun time with MHP2nd G and man that game rocks.MH games on PSP all rocks.Should try them out if u havent.Dont believe in GSpot review coz i f u do u will be missing out on one of the best RPG games the PSP has to offer.

    Mmmmm... I hear that 2nd G is in fact coming out for the US in the guise of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. It will be epic! I am in agreement with all of the posts so far. I think Gamespot should get a veteran to tell them how to play so that they can learn how to hunt the "right" way so that they will get their reviews straight 8.5 ~ 9.5 FTW!

    Monster hunter is the best game on the psp without a dout, and i know this new 1 mh portable 2nd g has been out in japan for a while now, but does any 1 know about it coming to england??? mh is one of the only reasons i play on my psp and an update would be great

    I seriously hope they bring this for the US. Freedom 2 is amazing, and this looks only better. Please, hear our plea's, Capcom.

    Best psp game. Spent over 300 hours on freedom 2 and I think I might spend more time on this new one. The guys in the video are fighting the wrong way but its ok since that is how noobs play.

    This Game Is Outstanding! Gamespots Ratings Are INSANE!
    The co op is Complete (Basically the entire game goes through co op). The battles are epic. And theres like a Kajillion weapons and armour! I'll never forget fighting Lao Shan with 3 of my mates 4 player co op and that Main Theme plays when your on the last stand, We was all like Come on! KILL IT! GO! (Knowing my mates it probally had a few more swear words thou)

    Truly Epic Game Deserves at least a 9.0
