Differences between NORMAL and HARD modes?

Okay, what are the differences between NORMAL and HARD? I know it is harder... I also heard that in Hard Mode you get extra cutscenes...

This sure is the hardest Megaman X to date... X6 is too easy compared with this one... And X7 has a poor gameplay, that's why it's hard.

Spoilers.

Besides difficulty, near the end of the game you will be forced into using only one character for a large segment of the final level, said character will return and save you when the time is right.
