Acclaim ships Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge
The updated PlayStation 2 version of Fur Fighters ships to retailers.
Acclaim has shipped Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge for the Sony PlayStation 2. This updated version of the original Fur Fighters action game, which appeared on the Sega Dreamcast, features a cel-shaded visual style and new levels, characters, and weapons. A four-player split-screen deathmatch mode is also included.
"On the heels of our successful launch of Crazy Taxi for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge expands the breadth and depth of our product lineup for the next-generation systems and is poised to be a must-have title among consumers,'' said Evan Stein, vice president of brand marketing at Acclaim.
As with the original, Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge was developed by UK-based studio Bizarre Creations.
