Frank Herbert's Dune to arrive in November

Cryo Interactive's action-adventure game will be released later this year on the PlayStation 2.

Cryo Interactive has announced that its upcoming 3D action-adventure game Frank Herbert's Dune will be released for the Sony PlayStation 2 and the PC on November 23. The game is based on Frank Herbert's 1965 novel, and it places players in the role of Paul Atreides. As the game progresses, players must take part in increasingly difficult and perilous missions in order to be accepted and trusted by the Fremen society. Cryo Interactive will publish Frank Herbert's Dune in Europe, and DreamCatcher Interactive will publish it in North America. GameSpot will have more on the game in the coming weeks.
