What do Eragon fans think of anti-shurtu ...
- Nov 14, 2006 5:26 pm PTIn case you don't realize what I am talking about:
www.anti-shurtugal.com
Now, know that I don't hate this series nor do I love it (though I love watching fans and anti-fans clash). I just want to get peoples' opinions on this site. Do you think everything they say is wrong? Do you agree with some of there points?

anything in the above post you may have found offencive is a joke and not ment to be taken seriusly. i have never and will never try to offend a person. if anything i post is considered trolling it is once again a joke and was in their for medium humor during a serius topic, i am not held liable if you deny this sig. (im seriuos)in incoincedences (have no idea how to spell it) on that site # 10 can be easily explained and it was in the book you cant teleport or look into the elven land because a barrier is up to stop any magic enter. and also she didnt do it in the first place because elves arnt suposed to be in carvall and she didnt quickly do it because it's very inaccurate and she could have teleported it to a horible location she didnt want to take the chances untill then.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Nov 15, 2006 3:36 pm PTI agree that #10 wasn't a valid argument, but you must agree they make SOME good points?

- Nov 17, 2006 5:19 pm PTSo, you can't even say they have some good points? I agree, at times they're nitpicking, but they do use logic.

- Nov 18, 2006 1:41 am PTIX is 9, not 10.
The timeline one is stupid. Is Alagaesia a real place on Earth that has the same length months and years as us? I would hope not because otherwise all the history classes I've been in have ****ed me over.
Alagaesia's months may be 10 days long for all we know. There may be 8 months in a year there, there may be 100,000,000. A day may be 9 hours long, it may be 562 hours. A minute may be 60 seconds long or 800 seconds long. Human biology may be different from adaptation to the environment of Alagaesia. The Human pregnancy may last for a year (which, not being a girl, I don't know how annoying that would be). The point is that we don't know if Alagaesia is the same as Earth or not.
I say we breed dragons and wage war on the annoying infidels.

anti-shurtugal is stupid. Only one of their statements is really valid and writers forget things all the time but you dont see anyone constantly flamming them. I wish the creator of the site would try to make a book himself at the age of fifteen (or any age at all) that is of better quality.
Also Paolini didn't plagerize! If you looked at books for plagerizm as closely as people are looking at inheritence there wouldn't be a single book on the market because they would all have been "plagerized".

- Nov 21, 2006 4:03 pm PT^His age is not a valid aurgument. They're judgeing the book based on how the book is. You're not going to give a crappy book a good rating just because a 7 year old wrote it, are you?

I think all the sadness of the most crazed, insane, no life Eragon fan doesn't amount to the sadness of the creator of that site. I mean sheesh, "See the light" ? Its just a book that a lot of people happen to enjoy so let them enjoy it! I myself have just finished Eragon today and found it to be a very entertaining story.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Nov 23, 2006 7:59 am PT^Using that logic, can't they have just as much fun not enjoying the book?
