Capcom cans All-Stars
The 3D fighting game featuring a number of high-profile Capcom characters has been canceled.
According to Japanese gaming publication Dorimaga, Capcom has decided to cancel its latest 3D fighting game, Capcom Fighting All-Stars. The game was expected to feature a number of characters from various Capcom franchises, including Rival Schools, Final Fight, Street Fighter, and Strider. The gameplay mechanics would have revolved around a five-button setup with two punch buttons, two kick buttons, and a side-step button for avoiding attacks. In addition basic attacks would have canceled each other out if executed at the same time, and the game also featured dramatic counters and finishers.
