Although few gameplay details have surfaced on Konami's samurai game, 7 Blades, GameSpot News has some brand-new screenshots of the PlayStation 2 title.

The game will employ an inventory system, which will let players change between the several weapons they collect during their quests. Players will also be able to dump items and tools that aren't useful. Additionally, it seems that players will be able to choose from a range of characters that will include male and female heroes.

GameSpot will keep you updated on all the details of 7 Blades' development. The game is expected to release sometime next year.
