989 Sports will be updating its longtime football franchise NFL GameDay again this August with the 2004 iteration. The game will feature all 32 NFL teams and fully updated rosters, as you'd expect from a new sports game. It will also give you access to the latest free agents and draft picks from the 2002 NFL draft.

NFL GameDay 2004 will feature the series' well-known Total Control gameplay. This lets you perform necessary maneuvers like passing and tackling with ease by providing simplified controls for game operations. The game will feature a variety of gameplay modes, of course, such as training camp, exhibition, season, and general manager, which lets you assume the roles of coach and general manager in addition to being a player. The game will feature new commentary from Dick Enberg and Hall-of-Famer Dan Fouts. Stat trackers will also be pleased by the staggering 163 categories of statistics available.

NFL GameDay 2004 will hit stores in August. Look for more soon.
