Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX ship date set

Activision's BMX game for the PlayStation and Game Boy Color will ship next week.

Activision has announced that it will ship Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX for the Sony PlayStation and the Nintendo Game Boy Color on May 15. The game features Hoffman and seven additional pro BMX riders and lets players perform hundreds of tricks and signature moves in a variety of street, vert, and dirt jump courses.

"Activision is excited to launch our O2 action sports sub-brand with Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX, an authentic and exhilarating BMX experience," said Larry Goldberg, executive vice president for Activision Worldwide Studios. "As the 10-time world vert champion, we feel that Mat Hoffman's style and talent truly captures the unparalleled thrill of action sports."

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX for the PlayStation will carry a suggested retail price of $39.99. The Game Boy Color version will retail for $29.99.
