    i feel as ff 12, and looks like ff 13 will be the same, are all themes of war, real life war ... need a change, ff10 was cool and great to play with a great story line just because it had somethign diffrent in it, SIN, The FAITH or even blitzball, those kind of things. FF7 story line, totally unreal, somethign you would have never came up with. cloud.. 2 personalitys. i would like to see a remake one day.

    I think Steve Burton does a good Cloud. In Crisis Core and Advent Children. As for Vincent to find out some stuff about him play Dirge of Cerberus. DanteDemon92 is right he's not a Vampire.

    I'm with DanteDemon92 on this one. I really want a remake but I'm afraid that SE would mess it up. The past 7 or 8 years they have made some really crapy games. all they are worried about is the graphics and lack on a story. If not a remake then why or why cant they make a game sim? something with the same kind of battle system and the way you leveled up your magic. besides FF10 (not FF10X) all the FF games have sucked after 7. 8,9,10X,11,12 where just awful. 9 left such a bad taste in my mouth I havent bought a FF since, and I'm glad I didnt waste any money buying them.

    A remake could either be amazing or catastrophic. Im afraid Square Enix will want to mess with what Squaresoft did, like changing the battle system or making Cloud super-mega emo like he was in Advent Children. I find it hard to trust Square Enix after the atrocity that was FF12 (sorrys fans, but many many people, me included, thought it was terrible). If they do remake it, just redo the graphics, add some cool looking cutscenes, and gets some good voice actors (preferbly some better than the ones in Advent Children). If they do it, I really hope Square Enix doesnt screw it up

    Btw, her original name was Aerith in Japan. When it was released in the U.S., there was a translation error and her name became Aeris. Square realized it sometime after the release of the game and used the name Aerith in all other games she was present in.

    There are two ways of saying her name. Aeris and Aerith. In America, it originally came out as Aeris and then they re-released it, her name was Aerith. I don't know why but that is truth. I owned the originally copy and then I bought the greatest hits version because my girlfriend decided it would be funny to destroy one of my favorite games. *sigh* Anyway, this video didn't explain crap. He just said some random stuff about the series. He hinted that Sephiroth was injected with Jenova's cells but didn't actually say "Sephiroth was the first to be injected with Jenova's cells and he was a confused child." lol. Which is true. Sephiroth is awesome but completely confused. :-)

    What's he mean that FF7 didn't make sense? It was such a simple story line and FF doesn't need make sense. Sephiroth was evil, Cloud wasn't and so him and Barret decided to kick his ass, what more do you want? Also FF7 has the greatest cut scene ever, where Sephiroth is burning Nibelaham down and he was walking through the flames OMG I love that so much!

    i currently own a DS an PSP and soon a PS3. i have ff1 ff2 ccff7 on psp ff3 ff4 on ds im obsessed with ff and after crisis core i so want to play ff7 (i never played the original)

    Square Enix should remake Final Fantasy 7.Who care's about what some b*tchy little kid say's about a game kid's are stupid anyway's they don't know what they won't who car'es if they say the game is crap or whatever there kids!they say that about almost everything they arent good at.Square enix forget what these little kid's say or whoever whatever is making you scared about remaking the game please just let it go I'll back you up 110 percent no I'll support you all the way.I don't care if you sell Final Fantasy 7 The remake version of the game for $100 dollars I'll still buy it I have hundred's thousands of dollars.SO PLEASE MAKE THE GAME Forget THE HATERS!

    If Squaresoft or squarenix whatever the hell there name's are didn't remake Final Fantasy 7 for PS3 they be f*cking stupid.They already know if they remake they will make alot of money.And also it should be only made on PS3 for repspect of the game.I own a xbox360 elite and Nintendo Wii but I feel it should be exclusively only on PlayStation 3.

    I Like FF7 because of Character Cloud & Sephiroth...
    This game is already been 12 years Wohhh!!!!!! & now is still the best game that i ever play....... Very Good Story......

    And about Aeris's name, in the British releases of the game her name is Aeris. No British released version of Final Fantasy VII has Aeris renamed Aerith.

    Square have stated that they haven't started making the remake of Final Fantasy VII, as a matter of fact they don't want to remake it again because if they remake it and mess it up, they think it may be-little the original, which I can fully understand (say a kid, who never played the original, plays the remake and it's rubbish they may think ''Oh well why is this game so bigged up, it's rubbish.'' and this is what Square are most scared of.
    Nintendo have the same problem with Ocarina Of Time, they get millions of letters every year asking for it to be remade, but they don't want to remake it for the same reasons Square don't want to remake Final Fantasy VII. But Nintendo haven't teased fans like Square have, by making a tech demo of what Ocarina Of Time may look like if say they brought it out on the Wii.

    I just hope to god that IF Square remake Final Fantasy VII, they drop the battle system found in Final Fantasy XII and remake it with the same battle style of the original. I found it so much better battling like in the first 10 FF games compared to the fight system deployed in FFXII.

    @LifeLeecher on the very first FF VII game her original name was Aeris.(Maybe Aerith in Japan because I have seen it say Aerith on some screenshots back in the days) Dunno why the frruck they would change it to Aerith, in Crisis Core, but oh well.
