Eidos Changes Name of Fear Effect Sequel

The company announces a minor name change for its upcoming prequel.

Fear Effect: Retro Helix is now officially known as Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix. This might seem somewhat confusing, as the game is actually a prequel to the original Fear Effect, but Eidos made the announcement to clear up any confusion that might arise once the game is released. The prequel will explore the histories of Hana, Deke, and Glas, and the events that brought them together.

The game is still on schedule for an early 2001 release.
