Good: able to use different weapons (e.g. rocket launcher, assault rifle, etc.) combined with one's own "viral enhancements", able to use different vehicles such as helicopters and tanks, great storyline and cut-scenes, great looking cinematics and graphics, great voice acting, game play is overall very fun, gore and sound effects really add to the atmosphere, being able to "consume" others to gain health, various objectives in each mission (e.g. defending a convoy, eliminating enemies, infiltrating a base, etc.), able to use different disguises after consuming people for a more stealth-like approach, available upgrades and enhancements that can be bought with earned points, many different combat moves and abilities, a lot of activities, challenges, and mini games outside of the main campaign, lengthy campaign
Bad: game play can get frustrating at times (I played on Normal difficulty and found it a little hard at times), not able to resume a saved game from the last saved checkpoint in a mission (after exiting the game, you must start from the beginning of the mission you exited on)
Overall: Prototype is a fun game with an intriguing story and many different objectives and activities to be completed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys brutal and fast-paced action, mixed with strategic/stealth-like missions, and of course, a great story.
