Producer Jonathan Lim addresses the criticisms of the first Prototype game and talks about how the sequel has evolved in graphics, combat, and story.
I didnt like alot first game. Graphics were too dull and fights repetitive. Wasnt bad game but too generic.
I loved the first one and glad the new one is on PC to, can't wait to play it. Pre-Ordered and counting down the days :D
I loved the first game, one thing that bugged me that I was just reminded of by the video....shooting with ANY gun, it felt extremely awkward. Trying to manual aim was next to impossible, you had to switch between auto targets, if they could make it so it switches to a close up over the shoulder you could have a fluid aim system.
Im going to buy this game next....! This looks like my type of game and im from mass would love to kill some new yorkers after the super bowl. In the game not real life of course lol .
F what everyone else said Prototype was great, visuals and all. I loved Prototype much more than Infamous. Alex Mercer would whoop Cole McGrath's ass.
Been waiting for this game for some time now. Looks exceptionally better than the first game witch I played through about 3 times. Prototype1 the story was quite clouded as far as knowing what was going on but at the same time the cut scenes where still sick. Prototype2 looks phenomenal and i am already strongly attracted to the story line. Oh yes... And sell thoughs prototype arms fans will go nuts including me. =D
By the way, Alex Mercer isn't the "original" Alex Mercer anymore. For those who played the first game surely know that.
The first game was a genuine surprise of delight for me. Had the DNA of a GTA game (running around causing hell) and a Bourne movie, except the main character could, y'know, throw cars at helicopters. Spent many hours just running, jumping, floating, flying, smashing. slicing, annoying and just generally enjoying myself. So, roll on the sequel. Hope the company makes loads of money.
I loved the first game and cannot wait for this sequel..and in regards to this video, its hard to take everything this guy says seriously with his arm in that goofy foam sword sleeve...where can I get one of those? :D
I have never felt so much overpowered and agile in any other game than on prototype.Hope this trend continues in the sequel.
The first Prototype was an interesting concept that did well. It will be interesting to see how how this one pans out in the long run.
Now that there's gonna be an allegiance between Mercer & Heller, I'm starting to like the story.... But I hope Alex Mercer is not the main antagonist.... Which would be seriously bad....
prototype was a really nice game. the story was great and the twist in the story was even better. One thing i really wanted in prototype was to fully utilize the firearms with ease like u know if u hold a gun then an aiming reticle would appear and not that auto aiming (which was of course very convenient in its own way). I have always wanted to get the enemy's disguise and shoot the infected people. Wish there was a side mission like that. AND IS ALEX the main villain here??? just dying to know the story....pretty impressive so far
I find it interesting how games never used to have tutorials and you had to figure stuff out on your own that is what I think made games good is they let you do what you want to do
