A funner but shorter sequel to the original prototype.

User Rating: 8 | Prototype 2 PC
Before I begin this review, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF 'FUNNER' ISN'T A REAL WORD. IT SHOULD BE. Ok, Prototype was fun.

Gameplay:
8/10

Don't expect many changes here, the game is basically a re-skinned, prettier Prototype 1. But is this a bad thing? No. Don't change what isn't broken. But there was one great improvement: the ability to equip two powers at the same time. Left mouse to use one power and right mouse use the other.
A way this game could have been better is if you could play as Alex Mercer again, fulfilling his goals of world domination. Future DLC? Like the Dragon Age Darkspawn Chronicles DLC where you play as the bad guy. That would be fun.

Graphics:

A lot prettier than the first Prototype. Also, character models look thicker and less thin and weak.

Pros:

More Prototype.

Cons:

Shorter, lip animation during gameplay (outside of cut scenes) are equal to seeing characters in the House of the Dead 2 talk and the ending was one of those corny "So what do we do now?" kind of endings.

Overall:
8/10

Prototype 2 continues the mindless fun of the original, but hardly changes.
