An improvement for the console version this PC version is a graphically superb to the xbox and ps3 version of prototype2
Now that we are done with the comparsion lets get to the game now if you are not fimmalier with the first game you played as Alex Mercer who was infected with a virus caused by the military and gained supernatural powers in this game you play as sgt.James Heller a man who has lost his wife and daughter because of Alex and goes to the infected zone however Alex infects him and now he is on a chase to kill him.
The first thing you will notice in prototype 2 is how the cinematices look as they are colored in black,white and red and that looks good and makes the game feel dark in a small way and the second thing you will notice in prototype 2 is the gameplay which is utterly gruesome,there is large amounts of gore,blood and dismemberment in this game because as heller levels up he gains powers like claws or a whip or a blade and it is very fun to kill people in this considiring you can CONSUME them now when you consume a person you get his shape and form to run around with.
You can run up walls,grab any enemy and jump as far as you can then dive with him or you can simply fly around this city now remember that this is an open world experience which has side missions that more than make up for the very repetitive story missions that can get annoying after long duration of play.
The side missions are useful because they level up you weapons(powers)and give you perks which can help ypu against enemies in combat.
So this game is simply fun and impressive and ofcourse an imrovement to the first game from combat but from missions it suffers but that wont stop you from enjoying Prototype 2!
