GameSpot is proud to announce the world premiere of the ÜberSoldier single-player demo! Playing as an undead German soldier brought back from the grave, you'll join with resistance forces in a struggle against the Nazi menace. You'll use authentic World War II weapons to compliment your new supernatural powers, fighting both human opponents and undead warriors in your quest for vengeance.
The ÜberSoldier demo offers an exciting single-player mission spanning three diverse environments. You'll blast through waves of zombies and Nazi soldiers in your quest to free a key resistance leader, using a wide variety of weapons including the 44 Machine Gun, the MP 40 Machine Pistol, and the devasting Panzerscreck bazooka as you fight through an underground complex and an enemy base.
ÜberSoldier will be available in stores on March 31, 2006.

Temporal Shield - When surrounded or hopelessly outnumbered, the Temporal Shield stops and suspends incoming bullets, allowing the hero to turn bullets back on the enemy.
Independent Object Physics - All articles that make up a character's equipment weapons, ammunition, map cases, and so on - are independent physical objects that can be damaged or knocked off during a battle.
Realism - One shot does not always mean one kill in ÜberSoldier. While a shot to an unprotected target's head will kill, a bullet may only glance off a helmet, knocking off the helmet but not killing the target.
Advanced A.I. - AI opponents will avoid an obvious losing situation so as to gather strength for a concentrated attack, and genetically enhanced AI super soldiers will use telekinetic attacks to fling objects at the player.
Advanced Rag Doll Technology - A realistic range of human movement compliments the game's physics engine, providing an advanced degree of authenticity.
