Do you miss horror games?Well this remake of one of the best horror games ever made worth every penny of your money!
From the amazing graphics & great creepy soundtrack to the simply exploration & one of the most unique and intense fighting systems ever made this game is just a beautiful expirience.
Is it scary?Well i don't know,some people say that it is the scariest game ever made but it didn't manage to scare me alot,probably because i have played the original and i knew what's going on but fear is different between diferrent people.Although the Fighting system is one of the most intense you have ever played.
it's Story is a masterpiece and very sad,the great thing is that through the notes that the ghosts leave behind or that you find around the village you learn about their tragic story.I don't want to ruin anything about the Story of this game though,it is just amazing.The normal/original ending will shock you in a good way.The game has 5 different endings but if you don't know what you are doing(Not read any guides) you will get the Crimson Butterfly ending which is the cannon and the best of all.
It has many things to unlock and a ghost list too in which every ghost you photograph gets in this list which adds replay value if you want to complete it.Oh and there is a new Mode,the "Haunted House Mode" which is the only thing on the game that is bad,actually it's not just bad,it is very akward and there is no reason to even try it.The HHM is a complete dissapointment.
To sum up,this is one of the best horror games ever made.For me,it is the best and even if you have already played it before on PS2 or Xbox back in 2003-2004,this is one of the best remakes ever made!
