Project X Zone provides a very fun and crazy experience for those expecting a great crossover strategy RPG.

User Rating: 9 | Project X Zone 3DS
Project X Zone is everything I expected it to be, weird, different, crazy, addicting, flashy and downright fun. On the surface, it looks like an easy mindless button masher, but the amount of depth this game provides is very good and the more you take advantage of it, the smoother your battles will go, so pay close attention to my review if you plan on playing this game.

Story: 8.5/10

How well you understand the story depends on how closely you pay attention to the dialogue, as well as your familiarity with the games each character is from (I was familiar with about 60% of them). The game mainly follows Project X Zone's 2 original characters, Kogoro and Mii, Kogoro being Mii's tutor/detective, helping her figure out who stole her family's "Portalstone." From there, the people responsible start messing with the dimensions, throwing your two protagonists as well as the different characters all over the place.

It can get pretty hard to follow sometimes and there's a LOT of dialogue, but if you can keep up, it's rather interesting and funny, especially seeing how the characters interact with each other. If you don't care about the story and just want to play the game, hold R+A

+ Interesting and kooky storyline
+ Funny dialogue
+ Developers stayed true to the characters
- LOTS of dialogue
- Story can get hard to follow
