No, the Edge card does not give you a discount on new games. It gives you 10% extra trade-in credit when you trade games in and it gives you a 10% discount off used games, but, unfortunately, there is no such discount for new games. There should be, though.

Does the gamestop edge card give discounts for NEW games. I;m almost positive that it doesn't, but my friend keeps arguing that it does. All it says on the back of the card (and on the gamestop website, which I checked) is that it offers discounts for all USED equipment (games, hardware, consoles...etc.) and has a store-credit type pf build up as well (for trading in used games)

All I need is a simple answer...does it give any benefits for NEW games?
