This game is a shoddy port of the Mass Effect Gameplay into a very poor and uninspiring version of the X Com Universe.

    The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

    Rated on August 29, 2013 by y_roland

This game is a shoddy port of the Mass Effect Gameplay into a very poor and uninspiring version of the X Com Universe.

The characters bland are at best. The starting character is decent, but eventually is replaced, by someone I had NO interest in, and no empathy for and that I was begging the game to give me a chance ...

A true masterpiece from Bioware, the Lord of all RPG.

*Warning: Minor Spoilers* Dragon Age: Origins is the latest fantasy – RPG made by Bioware, which has quite a legacy to live up to, with games such as the Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Repu...

Although standard in most cases, really does right what matters most.

The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth

    Rated on January 30, 2010 by y_roland

Although standard in most cases, really does right what matters most.

Battle for Middle Earth is an RTS based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings novels (though very heavily inspired by the movies), and as such makes extensive use of the material, although in some cas...

A good game, though sometimes lacking the intensity of previous Total War titles.

    Empire: Total War

    Rated on May 16, 2009 by y_roland

A good game, though sometimes lacking the intensity of previous Total War titles.

I have been playing the total war series since the Rome: Total War, and have been greatly pleased with the evolutions brought by following titles/ expansions, and I must say that this latest leaves me...

An outstanding game, though some issues rob it of the state of perfection.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition

    Rated on April 07, 2009 by y_roland

An outstanding game, though some issues rob it of the state of perfection.

The game of the year edition is a compilation of the original Oblivion game plus the 2 add-ons released afterwards, namely Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. I'll begin by reviewing the original...

Certainly not a bad game, but the technical issues render it much too frustrating.

Call of Duty: World at War

    Rated on March 23, 2009 by y_roland

Certainly not a bad game, but the technical issues render it much too frustrating.

I played CoD:MW, and I loved it, it brought interesting novelties to the FPS genre, and had some of the best MP online matches I've played so far, so when I got my hands on this one i was very excited...

This is a game you're likely to enjoy if you give it enough time.

    Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45

    Rated on December 13, 2008 by y_roland

This is a game you're likely to enjoy if you give it enough time.

Red Orchestra was originally a mod based on the Unreal engine and later on sold on retail and through Steam. This game is set in the eastern front of WWII, which is incredibly underused compared to...

Wether you're a fan of D&D tabletop games or just the average guy, this game will suck you in.

    Neverwinter Nights 2

    Rated on December 12, 2008 by y_roland

Wether you're a fan of D&D tabletop games or just the average guy, this game will suck you in.

I'll start by saying that I havent played the original neverwinter nights so this review will not compare NW2 to the original one, i'll simply compare it to other RPGs and highlight it's greatest virt...

A great game with a few annoyances that are easily overlooked.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of The Betrayer

A great game with a few annoyances that are easily overlooked.

I'll begin by saying that I never played the original neverwinter nights, my sole experience of the game comes from the NW2 and this expansion pack, and so far i've played both many times and enjoyed ...
