GTA 5 coupled with GTA online = my GOTY. GTA:O weighs heavily for me because i've been playing with buddies and well, its the most fun ive had in an online game in awhile. Once they implement more content it has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

Did you install both discs? They said there would be problems if you install the play disc.

I'd wait. Price drops will happen more quickly than you think with the ps4 being cheaper. I think xbox is in for surprise(already screwed the community with the hint of trying those ridiculous features) when ps4 outsells it. They'll drop price and match ps4 to compensate or have some other deals like bundling more games. Waiting 6-8 extra months wont kill you. Personally I dont even want to get either console. Im going to go back to pc gaming. Board + mouse for Bf4 please. Plus its annoying having the same hardware for 8 years whilst pc's are five times ahead.

Yea that would be nice. Sometimes if you have a wanted level and you have your radio off you can hear the dispatcher saying "orange infernus going 70 mph down strawberry ave" or whatever. So I guess that is a close estimation at your current speed lol.

I only see Petit's point being valid because most if not all of the women in the game are either hookers, strippers, hood rats, or other scandalous women. With the exception of Molly, who turned out to be working for a scumbag rich dude. Although none of the male characters in the game are really portrayed as being decent human beings. They all murder, steal, and have general disdain for humanity.

If they made a female protagonist to play as, she wouldnt have had any problems about it I think; at least a supporting female character who wasn't complete scums of the earth. Perhaps a female lester or what have you.

I do miss the metal they put in the previous games. Since thats mostly what I listen to. However I find the rap/hip-hop stations and the electronic station(worldwide fm i think) are not so bad. I can listen to those and feel alright about what im hearing. A custom station playing music off your HD was an oversight and should of have been included. Perhaps as dlc in the future?

Not a random kid, no. My own daughter, perhaps. Depends on whether I think she can handle whatever material is in the game and how strictly it's been rated. I mean, take Halo for example - it's a pretty weak M, relatively speaking. On the other end, you have something like Manhunt. Even before I decide if she's up for it, one is a lot more kid-friendly than the other.DJ_Lae

Its GTA...of course there are going to be unicorns and fluffy clouds and rainbows while youre tripping on acid after Jimmy slips it to you. That doesnt mean your child cant enjoy the game while you are robbing a car, flying helipcopters into people on the street, bomb a money truck with dynamite to steal the cash, and go home with strippers after a very long day of criminalizing Los Santos.

Its not that children dont understand the complexities of the stories and characters, as they are dysfunctional sociopaths with tendicities to steal, murder, and overall disregard humanity and the values we all instrust. That they cannot comprehend why this is fun, as a satire, which as a form of comedy to relieve the fact that we are just one idiocrocy away from joining the very satire(ive been playing gta, cynicism =P).

Simply put its fun for adults that are looking for a way to mock society and become entertained by doing the exact opposite of what they can do in real life, without consequences. A child doesnt usually undertstand that; they think its just fun to run around and commit adultery, murder, steal etc; doing all the things their PARENTS told them not to do - being rebels. So on that level it's essentially the same thing, but we understand it differently.

Children do not have the complexities of an adults mind, who has experienced this society we are mocking their whole life. Nor the comprehension of an adult who can distinguish between fantasy and reality and understand the fun that being(key word) a degenerate can be; instead thinking being a degenerate has no consequences. Not having to feel grief over wrongdoing or have a conscious about doing bad things to people. Stress relief, escaping reality, becoming the master of your destiny and owning your world; things adults relate too.

I think this is the very reason parents fear exposing their children too it; not many parents want their children to grow up and do these things. We want our kids to become functioning, decent members of society. The same society we've live and respect enough to not commit these acts. Thats what I believe. Thus the same very reason you are asking this question.

Trust the mentality about the game = give.
Do not trust the mindset about the game= deny.
