@Pipboy360: Oh no I'm not offended at all. I'm no american and gun ownership is very heavily regulated in my country. I was agreeing with your original comment lol. I guess it makes sense not to paint all gun owners with a broad brush but that guy is really does sound like a crazy person. "Strangers near my house" I'm just thinking I could be walking by the house of a guy with the mentality like that and then "bam" I'm shot because he didn't know who I was when I was "near his house". Really the craziness for me is in that phrase.
@Pipboy360: DaVillain's comment it positively asinine. Why would anyone thing it makes sense to point a gun at someone who is "near his house"? The stupidity of that just boggles the mind. Also if I saw suspicious people out side of my house I would look for signs of a break in and call the police if I found any not run outside and point a gun at them.
@Shiftfallout worms 3d used voxels and it worked pretty well. That was a fair amount of time ago. The game was no where near as fun as armageddon, but the voxel thing was pretty sweet.
@rem234 @xerotolerant not really because she was fired. When the rest of us get fired, we don't get to take our pet projects with us. Getting to keep intellectual property is pretty nice treatment.
I do not understand this "they promised me the world" business. Sure you had an unpleasant experience, but valve has pretty high customer satisfaction, so they're definitely doing something right. She got to keep tech for herself when she left. Sounds to me like she was treated like a princess, unless she's saying that she doesn't believe in the very tech she was working on for all that time.
