Getting back into the swing of things!

by on

I've been extremely busy for about the past 2 years, so now that my life is getting back together and things are falling back into place let me rant about it... lol.

I've recently returned from my third straight deployment, am now married to my best friend and amazing wife Meagan Alleman, and am eagerly anticipating the release of all the great games this fall! In less than two months I'll be starting a school to become a Combat Instructor in the Marine Corps and then I'll receive my duty station for the next 3 years come this December. Let's all cross our fingers I get to stay in sunny souther California!

That's about it! I've been grinding Battlefield 4 until the release of Minecraft and Destiny hit the Xbox One so If you're interested in joining our little community of gamers (Death Under Infantry) send me a message and let me know!

Been a while.

So I've been back from Afghanistan for over 6 months. I've been playing all the new games while juggling re-enlisting in the Marine Corps, getting married and preparing for going out on ship for 7 months later this year.

So let's start with the games! Mass Effect 3, CoD: Black Ops 2, Halo4, etc! The games in the last 6 months have been so good! Right now my brother, my best friend Nick, and I have been trying to get the Tower of Babel Achievement in Black Ops 2 but something always goes wrong just as we're about to get it. Doesn't stop us from trying over and over again tho!

Well just wanted to stop in and say hi and that I'm still here. I'll write again after my wedding at the end of March and Bahamas honeymoon at the Atlantis Resort in early April. 'Till then!

Half way there...

...and I can already hardly stand the anticipation of all the new games to play when I get back from Afghanistan. Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3... oh how I'm going to spend endless hours playing.

Halfway done with the deployment and I just can't wait to get home.

Here we go again...

Well, it's that time again. I'm heading back out to Afghanistan soon which is highly disappointing and very bad timing. I'm going to miss all of this holidays games which include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, etc. I'll be back either end of May or early June. Then it's time to catch up on some gaming!

Well see you all in 7 months!

Back after a while

Holy crap it has been a long time since my last post. Been really busy. This is gonna be short just wanted to kinda update the situation lol.

Anyways I got back from Afghanistan at the end of last November. Since then I went on leave to see family and friends at the end of December through early January. Then since Jan 24th I've been in Infantry Squad Leader's Course and I graduate in 11 days on March 31st.

Hopefully after that I'll have more time to get on here and get some gametime in.

Two months down over here in the "Land That God Forgot." It's gone by pretty quick so far. This is the first time in the two months I've gotten some down time and actually am using a computer. Sucks being in the infantry but it's my job ya know. Well I'm gonna go. Can't wait to get home and get all the new games coming out this holiday season.

Deployment blues.

So I'm an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps and we're deploying to Afghanistan soon. As I am nervous with anticipation I am also sad about the releases I will miss. Among them at the moment are the release of Dead Rising 2, Halo: Reach, Splinter Cell: Conviction and possibly Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Of course as soon as I return to the states I will be buying all of these games and spending much time playing them, until then I'll just have to have Game Informer magazine sent to me in care packages to read about them.

See you later,
