it's harder to make ps3 games. it seems like they can do nice things with the hardware, but nobody wants to put the time in. from a developer's perspective, it's more cost-effective to give it "good enough" graphics if it's not a game that will get people to buy consoles. gta4 is the first game in quite a while, the wii's lineup notwithstanding, that made people want to buy a console specifically to play that game. it's not surprising at all that developers might cut a few corners to keep their costs down. honestly i'm a 360 fanboy, but most of the differences i see in these shots are negligible, and since none are in action they really don't give you an accurate look at what the graphics really look like when framerate realtime effects are in place. so i'll just agree that they both look really good, but neither is good enough to persuade me to buy a console outisde of the one i already have, which i think would be the case with most of us here chatting. just my .02, thanks
