I envy you. Having the vast array of PS3 exclusives ahead of you. It's an easy decision IMO. 1) Get the next gen console and have to wait for the games you want to play or 2) get last gen and have a list of amazing, gen defining games out there just waiting for you.

Go grab yourself: TLOU, Uncharted 1-3, Heavy Rain & Beyond, GOW 3, Demon's Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Folklore (if you can find it), Resistance 1-3, Puppeteer, LBP1 & 2, Infamous 1 & 2, Heavenly Sword, Ico & Shadow of the colossus Collection, Journey and Ni No Kuni... and thank me later.

I think Tell tale should stick to what they have become synonymous with, producing game adaptations of popular TV/film/comics series. I just think a game based on another game is just a bit too niche. Back To The Future, The Walking Dead and the upcoming Game Of Thrones are their bread and butter. I would just love them to tackle a Breaking Bad game myself.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a fantastic game. Sales suffered massively due to a hectic release schedule at the time. I'd recommend it to anyone who's not had the pleasure yet.

Imagine Bioshock Infinite mixed with a little bit of TLOU and some GOW and you have Enslaved. Also features some of the best voice action of the last few years.

it looks good, never tried that game

You can pick it up for around £5 ($8) and it's 100% worth it. The only downside is the ending leaves it open for a sequel which will sadly never come as Ninja Theory have shelved it.

My local CEX store (UK) had one yesterday for about 5 minutes.

I was being served when a couple brought a PS4 into the store and said they'd bought the wrong one and it was an Xbox one their son wanted. They we're told that the store had lots of Xboxes so could swap it over.

They checked the PS4 and popped it on the shelf and put a £520 ($850) price tag on it. It was up there around 2 minutes when a dude behind me in the queue bought it.

Everybody's Gone To The Rapture

Rime

and The Order 1886 are the three that stand out for me so far

...Sorry to be a pedant and a grammar Nazi but title should be you're.

I'm expecting a big downgrade come launch as this is only a tech demo but it looks very, very impressive. Think this game could be something special. Just hope they have a decent plot to back it up.

Gee let me think...

DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION!

IMO is's the best game of the last gen. I did really enjoy Dishonored but I think that's because in essence it's just Deus Ex re-skinned. In that case why settle for an inferior copy when you can get the glorious original instead.

Make sure you get the Director's Cut of Deus Ex and you'll be saved from the worst boss fights in video game history.

Oh and play stealth. Makes the game twice as fun.

Voted TLOU (yet again). Has more character in it's little infected finger than GTA et al combined (Although I did enjoy GTA 5 and Bioshock).
