While this is great news, i am getting a bit sick of Hideo Kojima always saying that 'It's the last in the series'

"MGS 2 is the last in the series"

Hideo Kojima may be a genius, but he's not very honest.

so i was just surfing the net, as per usual, and came upon this.

Not sure if everyone already knows this, but sure shocked me! It seems it sold a lot better then some people think. good for sony. looks like sales in other regions really saved this game from being a complete flop. the game deserved the sales.

if they made the game about 6-7 hours longer, bet it could of sold even more.

while i will not comment on whether the game sucked or not, as i have not played it, i will say that the game was certainly not a flop.

The game has so far sold 330,000 units worldwide, and continues to sell at a steady rate. The Game had a low budget, and didn't need to sell heaps to make a profit, like a lot of ps3/360 games. hell, Suda 51 even threw a party a few months back to celebrate sales.

Also, a lot of people seem to be complaining about the graphics, but if you care about graphics that much why the hell would you buy a wii?

there is simply no way i can afford all these games. a real bummer.

id like to see Super mario RPG the most. nintendo didn't release it in Aus, so the least they could do is put it on the VC.

I'd also like to see chrono trigger and banjo kazooie.

For the next nintendo console, i expect that it'll:

- it'll keep the wiimote, except add more buttons

- will have a lot more online games, but they will still not include voice chat

- graphics slightly better, but still not as good as PS3/360

- will not play DVDs or blu-ray discs. The discs will probably be able to hold 16-20 GB

- Virtual Console will include Gamecube games and Gameboy/GBA games

- A price tag of $350 AU (i dont know how much it'll be in US)

- A hard drive with a storage space of 25GB
